What happens if I leave the Google Ads Conversion Label blank in Cloudbeds?

The short answer
Cloudbeds' own Google Ads integration article warns that without a Conversion Label "a Page Load Conversion Action will trigger, which could cause double conversions." Enter both the Conversion ID, with the AW- prefix, and the Conversion Label, or leave both fields empty and track Google Ads another way.
Why
The two fields live under Settings, Booking Engine, Analytics, and only appear when the GA4 connection is selected. Cloudbeds uses them to fire its own conversion event on the confirmation page, with send_to set to your ID and Label plus the reservation ID, value and currency.
Cloudbeds doesn't explain why, only the result: a page-load conversion action fires instead. If the account also has a real purchase conversion, every booking can count twice, and Smart Bidding can optimize toward bookings counted twice. Half a setup is worse than none here.
What to do
- 1
In Google Ads, open the conversion action and copy both the Conversion ID (it looks like AW-XXXXXXXXXX) and the Conversion Label.
- 2
In Cloudbeds, paste both. Cloudbeds accepts the ID without the AW- prefix but says to include it so the event fires correctly.
- 3
On the GTM connection these fields don't apply. Cloudbeds says to configure Google Ads in your GTM container; we import the GA4 purchase instead, for the reason in the GTM-or-GA4 answer.
